Spending time near the ocean revitalizes and relaxes us. Our oceans nourish us spiritually, physically, emotionally and are vital to our planet’s existence. Let’s do our part to protect this precious resource—buy a souvenir from the sea and we will contribute to climate change organizations.

This is my family at the beach.

Some of our happiest memories have been spent on beaches around the world. From Costa Rica to Trunk Bay, BVI and the local shores of Maryland, my children have built sand castles, jumped into waves with sand in their hair and sun kissed pink cheeks. We come home with tan lines and a collection of sea glass and shells—our souvenirs from sun drenched days on the sand soaking in salty breezes. I keep the shells close as a reminder.

Henalu is a dedication to my children and all future generations. The sand and water that makes our vacation memories so blithesome are threatened by climate change. I hope to keep the good vibes rolling so my babes can one day bring theirs to the beach, sun-kissed and sandy.

“Wearing henalu jewelry makes me feel like I’m sitting on a beach chair listening to the waves lap the shore, feeling restored.”
